DESCRIPTION:
The Mostarsko Blato Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) power system is located near the City of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the system comprises the following:
- Training of the Lištica River and associated tributaries, length about 8 km2
- Mostarsko Blato reservoir, active storage approx. 1,000,000.00 m3
- Headrace tunnel with intake structure and surge chamber (tunnel dia. 4.2 m, length 2,250 m)
- Penstock, dia. 3.0 m, length 375 m
- Powerhouse with two Francis turbines (Qi=2x20.0 m3/s, P=2x32 MW)
- Tailwater compensation basin
- Tailrace canal-tunnel
- Access roads
