The Burnjak retention basin regulates the water waves of the Burnjak stream, a tributary of the Toplica River, in the Krapina River basin, in order to protect Stubičke Toplice municipality from flooding. The retention basin development includes the construction of outlet structures, an embankment dam, a monitoring system and the water supply pumping station protection.
